Finding us

The shop sits on Corlett Avenue between East 123rd and Union, a few minutes off I 77 and Harvard. Coming from Garfield Heights or Maple Heights, take Union in. Coming from Shaker or Warrensville, come down Lee to Union.

What to send

Year, make, and model. A photo of the damage. A second photo from further back so the surrounding metal is visible. For rims, a close shot of the crack or bend. For rust, a shot from underneath if you can get one.

Photos are resized in your browser before sending, so large phone photos are fine.

FAQ

Common questions

Is it safe to weld a cracked rim?
On a steel or aluminum wheel with a crack in the barrel or a bead seat leak, yes. The repair gets welded, ground back true, and checked for round. A crack running through the face or a spoke is a different question, and that one gets answered by looking at the wheel rather than over the phone.
How much does a repair cost?
It depends on how far the rot or damage actually goes, which is why nothing gets quoted blind. Send a photo and you will get a real number, not a range designed to get you in the door.
My frame is rusted. Is it too far gone?
Sometimes. Plenty of vehicles that a body shop wrote off are repairable, because the rot is in a mount or a section rather than the whole rail. It is worth one photo to find out.
Do you do mobile welding?
Yes, across Cleveland and the east side suburbs, for equipment, trailers, gates, railings, and anything that cannot be driven in.
How long does a job take?
Many exhaust and rim repairs are same day. Frame, rocker, and panel work depends on how much metal has to come out. You get a timeframe with the quote.
Why are you open until 8pm?
Because most customers work days. Evening drop offs and pickups are normal here.
